In my last entry I was bitching about my job. About how It doesn't give me enough work and how I spend most of my days bored and parranoid. Well, there was I reason I was bitching about a gig like that. Although it wasn't as bad I feared. The result still sucks though.

If you have an employee, and the employee doesn't do anything. You fire him. If you have an employee and you can't find anything for him to do day after day, you let him go. That's what I was fearing. Well today, after sitting around at work, and making a few phone calls to some companies so the my boss's company can stop getting shafted by not having envelopes to send of these letters that have been done, for what seems like weeks. My boss comes in and gives me a version of the news that I had been dreading.

There's no point in me comming in 3 days a weak at this time. He only wants me to come in on Fridays, until things pick up. He promised me that he wasn't going to replace me, and that he is definately bringing me back on when things pick up. Thing is I don't know when things are going to pick up. He doesn't know when things will pick up, and untill things pick up, I can only work for him 1 day a week, which is pretty much the same boat that Katt is in right now.

So what's a guy to do. I've been effectively partially laid off. Well, I still have my Freelance card. And, suprise suprise, I had checked out the freelance book earlier this weak and written down a few potiential leeds. I also have the option to get off my ass, before I even sit down, and start looking for an additional job. I've been depress for a long enough period in my life. Fuck this shit. I'm tired of feeling sorry for myself. For those of you who know what this means... "Do you hear that? Somethings comming."
